Our collaborations with NGOs, educational institutions, and community organizations created meaningful change
Pledged ongoing support to a community charity drive, Stop and Help, which helps families with children living in the UAE. This commitment led to the delivery of over 180,000 meals and 3,566 boxes, worth over AED 900,000, to families in need over the span of 6 months.
Donated AED 100,000 and signed a partnership agreement with Friends of Cancer Patients (FOCP). The donation will be used to fund treatment for cancer patients and boost FOCP's efforts towards cancer awareness in the UAE and the surrounding region.
Donated money to the Emirates Red Crescent to help victims of the devastating Beirut blast in August 2020. The contribution will go towards the distribution of care packages containing medical, sanitary and food supplies.
Supported Senses Residential and Day Care for Special Needs, a philanthropic initiative to support children and young adults of determination. The centre caters to children from the age of two to nineteen with mild or severe physical disabilities, mental disabilities, autism and Down syndrome.
Supported the establishment and operation of 15 community centers providing essential services and recreational activities.
Sponsored the Pink Caravan Medical Mobile Clinic providing free breast cancer screening for less fortunate women in the community.
Mahzooz has sponsored the SmartReading English language programme which aims to enhance the English communication skills of Blue Collar friends and instil confidence in them to pursue better career opportunities.
Mahzooz supported the Dubai Centre for Special Needs (DCSN) by upgrading the centre's computer lab with new devices in order to better serve the academic, physical, social, and emotional needs of their students with determination.
Mahzooz sponsored Abu-Dhabi-based Future Rehabilitation Centre's multi-sensory room, a facility that provides sensory assistance to around 145 children of determination who are part of the centre's students.
We partnered with Al Noor Training Centre to establish a vocational media unit, aiming at helping students of determination receive specialized multi-media training. The newly established media unit will complement the existing vocational training activities offered at Al Noor which has several other facilities.
We sponsored the 2022 Screen and Survive Colorectal Cancer awareness programme conducted by Zulekha Healthcare Group. The campaign offered free screenings to all members of the public, including residents and visitors, along the campaign duration, at Zulekha Hospital's branches in Sharjah and Dubai.
Mahzooz supported the humanitarian relief efforts following the devastating earthquake that hit in Turkey and Syria on 6 February 2023. The contribution was in collaboration with the official Turkish authorities and the Syrian Arab Republic's Embassy in the UAE and revolved around sending financial as well as employee-driven in-kind donations, to the earthquake-stricken areas through the official channels
Mahzooz partnered with Saaed Association for the Prevention of Traffic Crasher to sponsor their annual Ramadan Iftar, in commemoration of “Zayed Humanitarian Day”.
Mahzooz collaborated with SmartLife to distribute Ramadan hampers to 500 blue collar women living in shared accommodations around Dubai, comprising long shelf-life dry food essentials..
Mahzooz partnered with Awladouna Center for People with Disabilities to support Thread and Needle project. The project aiming at empowering students of determination and integrate them into the country's future creative workforce consists of teaching students the right skills needed to design, stitch, embroider and finalize fashion garments from scratch.
Mahzooz has supported the Emirates Red Crescent's Pakistan flood relief initiative through the donation of 500,000 bottles of mineral water in addition to AED 25,000 which will be used by ERC to buy food and other essentials.
