French & Nepali Among 7 Big Winners in Lucky Draw

10 March 2021, Dubai, UAE: Seven lucky winners took home AED 142,857 each in the 15th live weekly Mahzooz draw. All seven matched five out of six numbers to split the AED 1,000,000 second prize.
The winners hail from a variety of different countries and span various age-groups but one thing is consistent across the board: Mahzooz made their dreams come true.
How did it feel?
“This is awesome, really awesome and it’s coming at just the right time,” said Xavier, a 53-year-old Dubai-resident from France. “I had some challenges, both financial and emotional, and this was like a gift that happened to me. I am thanking God for this opportunity.”
Sreesunil, 55, was equally thrilled with the good news.
“I’m excited. I almost felt numb in the moment but I’m very excited and very grateful to Mahzooz,” said the Indian expat.
How will you spend the money?
When it comes to spending a life-changing amount of money, two key themes permeate – taking care of family and building a future. “These are tough times but I am blessed that I now have the money to build my family a house in Punjab,” said Satwinderpal, a 27-year-old Indian expat who lives in Dubai.
Noemi, a 44-year-old Filipino expat, and Deependra, a 38-year-old from Nepal, have similar intentions.
“I have always wanted to buy a house for my family back in the Philippines and now I will do that,” stated Noemi.
“I’ve been planning to buy a property for my family that’s closer to Kathmandu. I discussed this with my father, my mother, and my wife and now it’s a reality,” said Deependra.
Any final words?
For Ganesh, 30, and Anthony, 62, the takeaway from winning is clear, it can happen to anyone. “I’ve never experienced anything like this in my life. My family is coming to Dubai in March and this will be a great surprise for them. My dreams came true because of Mahzooz,” said Ganesh.
“I was so shocked but I’m a big believer of ‘if you don’t speculate, you can’t accumulate’. If you don’t play, you haven’t got a chance of winning,” concluded Anthony.
For those who missed out on last week’s live draw, entrants can participate in Mahzooz by registering via www.mahzooz.ae and purchasing Al Emarat bottles of water. Each bottle of water purchased (for AED 35) provides eligibility for one line in the draw and the donation is channelled through Mahzooz’s community partners to hydrate those in need.
The next draw will be held as scheduled on Saturday 13 March 2021 at 9:00pm UAE time. Mahzooz is inclusive to all who are eligible.
